I'M HARRY LERNER

My passion for photography began in my teenage years.  I would capture images at rock concerts and tennis tournaments, rush home to develop the black and white film and sell prints to classmates and fans the following day.  I carried a DSLR camera with me almost everywhere and began taking photography classes in high school and then in college.   Inspired after a family trip to Europe, I began working on photography as art.  Since that time, I have trained with some of the best wildlife and landscape photographers and have enjoyed developing techniques and strategies to provide me with opportunities to capture distinctive images.  I strive to create photos that communicate the intrinsic beauty of a location or showcase a special moment in time for the wildlife subjects.  Every picture tells a story, and it is my hope that you enjoy the stories these images convey.   I currently use Sony’s A1 and A9ii bodies with the Sony 400mm 2.8 and 600mm 4.0 prime lenses for wildlife and Sony wide angle lenses for landscapes.  As the pandemic wanes, I am looking forward to traveling to inspiring locations that will give me the opportunity to experience new cultures and photograph incredible wildlife and landscapes.
